Sick Kids

Two of the three kids are sick, Xandria and Drake. Xandria has just mainly had a cough. Drake has been coughing, had a little temp and kinda stuffy. So we have just been laying around watching movies. Poor lil Drake fell asleep on the couch today. The part that really was no fair was he fell asleep twenty minutes before we had to pick up Xavier from school. But as soon as we got back he was ready to go to bed! He said "rock a bye," which meant he wanted me to sing him the song because that's what we always do before he goes to sleep. It's so cute because he usually sings it with me! I hate when the kids don't feel well. Hopefully it won't be too much longer. The beginning of the week was so beautiful and warm...I'm glad they were well to enjoy it. The last couple days have been raining, so they haven't missed out too much. Off to get some ice cream...which I can't seem to get enough of!

Guess What...

We are having another baby!! Baby number 4!! Wow! We were more than just a little surprised, but are very happy!! We found out on Jan. 1st when I decided to get a home pregnancy test after I realized the month of December went by without the monthly visitor coming. To my surprise it said PREGNANT on the digital stick! Had to take another test just to be sure...same result. Nick wasn't home, so I decided to put the tests in the fridge because I knew he would surely find them there! I asked him to get me a Sprite when he got in and I waited for him to say something about it, but he didn't. I waited a little while thinking maybe he needed to process it...but nothing. Finally I asked him if he noticed anything in the fridge. He said "No." I told him the kids had left him something in the fridge and to go find it. Finally He found them! Geez! He was prettty surprised (the other times we were pregnant he said he knew, but not this time!), but very happy also. My due date is August 23. One month before the older two birthdays. The first three months I was pretty sick and very tired, but that has gotten better. I'm now 17 weeks! It's already gone by so fast. We had our first ultrasound last wednesday and nothing is better than seeing your little baby moving inside you (except for hearing the heartbeat for the first time)! She asked if we wanted to know the sex and I said "Yes!", she told us what she thought, but said to wait until our next one to be positive, so I will wait until then to say anything. Our next ultrasound is April 4. I'm praying that everything goes well! Here's a picture of our little one.

Thinking Warm!!

The weather is horrible outside...snowing and VERY windy! I was going through some pictures and found these ones of Xavier and Xandria from the end of summer. Looking forward to green grass outside and the sun shining! Now hopefully Mother Nature will get that idea SOON!! These two are so funny and sweet together (and seperate) when they aren't arguing. Makes me smile =)
