The Pissy Post

Yes, that's what kind of post this is!! I'm just in a pissy mood and certain things are really starting to annoy me. On the top of the list is Ungrateful, Unappreciative, people!! I had more descriptive words...but somehow can't remember them. Ugh...I'm just irritated. Is it obvious?? One thing that really irritated me this week was voice mail telling me to return the call as soon as I got the message. Hmmm...seeing as who it's from do I really want to call back, because that usually means they want something, or me to do something for them more like it. So, I say well maybe this time something is wrong and I should just call back. So I do. Sure enough...the first thing I hear is, "I need you to", oh great. Now what. Locked their keys in the car...and are all the way across town at the mall...plus I need to drive all the way across the other way to go to their house and get the extra keys. Now, normally that would be fine. If this person didn't NORMALLY lock their damn keys SOMEWHERE!! You think by now you might want to come up with an alternantive, instead of making it someone else's problem ALL THE TIME! Ugh!! I had been busy cleaning my house cuz it was the ONE day I didn't need to be anywhere...not showered yet...baby going to eat in about an hour and Xavier out of school in under two hours. Just didn't want to do it! And to top it off, do I hear a "Thank You?" NO. Instead I hear, "Hurry up". Hurry up? Excuse me?!?! Yea I will make sure to do that. Finally get there and call to let her know I was there and she asks what door I'm at...tell her...and get bitched at for being at the wrong door! Un-Freaking-Believable!! But not a surprise. Ugh. Yea, pissed me off. Then today...I recieve another voice mail from someone else. Hadn't talked seen her in months, though she's been back for a few months...up until her coming over tuesday. Ok...well she left my parents house back in beginning of Sept, moved away and left most her/kids stuff. She put her daughter on phone last week asking if I could get the stuff for them (by the way, she always puts he kid on the phone to say the stuff she doesn't want to say...another thing that PISSES me off!!), I told her at some point when I make it over there I will get it. It's just something I really want to do in the middle of freezing cold, a ton of snow, amd with four kids, RIGHT?! Sure enough...they come over on tues and she (the daughter) asks if I got it yet. I tell her no, haven't had a chance to. Ok...no big deal. Now today, the voicemail...asking if I could get the stuff. And if she has to deal with getting it, she will just call the cops to have her go get it, so she can make sure she gets all of it. WTF?!?!? It's YOUR freaking crap that YOU left there and I need to get it?! I have to add that obviously she's pissed at my mom, for some bull. But still it's YOUR stuff that YOU left there!!! My mom has no problem with her or giving her her stuff, but she wants to be a pain in the ass, and make up something that isn't there AS USUAL!! But it should be me damn problem?! No I don't think so. Especially when you left the stuff sitting there for six months. Hmm...maybe I should tell her it got thrown away :) Or maybe I will just GO THROW IT AWAY :) If it wasn't for the daughters' things...I probably would. Anyway, that's my pissy post. I just don't get how people can act like that. And thank you and some appreciation goes a LONG way!! Sorry for the novel. **And can you tell that the two people I'm talking about are related??

MY BABY BABY IS SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

Six months old and full of drool
Note his little tongue peeking out. :)

Already trying to pull hats off...hope it was a fluke!
Well, Mr. Daxton has officially reached the half year mark! I'm quite sad about it...but I know there is so much more to come...but I'm still sad about it. I don't ever say "I wish he could do this or that, or I can't wait until he can do this or that," because I know that time will come...all too fast, so I try to enjoy each little thing, one day at a time. So here are a couple pictures I took yesterday on his 6th monthday birthday. I only had a few minutes to take some as we were gone most of the day and there was little light left.

This picture...

I absolutely LOVE!!! The main reason I love it (besides him being SO cute) is the fact that when he's layin on me at night, he will tip his head back up like that and look at me and smile. It's like he's checking to make sure I'm still there :) Just had to post it quickly...Nick and I are going to be going out to dinner and movie. A lil post-Valentine night out. The older kids are going to my parents, since it's the weekend they go there and my aunt is nice enough to watch the baby for us. So excited! We haven't been to movie since I was about 7 months pregnant. Still don't know what we're going to see or where we are going to eat...hmm...better get on that! Enjoy your day :)

My Tattoo...

just over a week old...scabbed up
on my wrist...obviously
Johnny and I @ Hart and Huntington...January 29
yes, I must of been crazy to get Nick's name tattooed on me ;) I even told him that...but in all fairness he does have my name...twice...he has my name on his ring finger with blue shading behind it (because that's my favorite color) and also my name in a heart on his shoulder. I was very surprised when he got my name the first time, because he got it when we were only back together a couple months and it was also his first tattoo. Anyway...I got my tattoo at Hart and Huntington in the Palms casino on our anniversary. I knew I wanted to go somewhere where they knew what they were doing, especially since I don't like my other tattoo. It's funny because the guy that was getting everything ready asked if I had any other tattoos. I said yes, but that I didn't like it and I had it done in Vegas also. He looked at it and asked where it was done...I told him and he asked who did it, I said "Jeremy" and he said "no way!" He knew him. He told me that he's in Milwaukee now and is totally addicted to herion. He said "yea, he probably was back when he did your tattoo also." Oh, that's nice to know! He said it's not bad, it just needs to be touched up...but I don't like it period.
The people at Hart and Huntington were super nice and helpful. My tattoo artist name is Johnny. I showed them the kind of writing I liked in the book...he wrote the name out freehand, so it's something no one else has. The first guy told me that it doesn't hurt too bad on the wrist and when Johnny came up, he said "the wrist, that's pretty narly." That was also real nice to hear! I have to say, it wasn't too bad, except the lines under the name were pretty rough!! It was a good experience and I would recommend them...though I don't plan on anymore tattoos!

Back From Vegas

photo taken from plane on the way there. That's the wing if you couldn't tell.
gondola inside the Venetian
New York New York. See the escalators in the street on the left.
Six year wedding anniversary dinner!
under the light show on Fremont street. Our last night there.
We left last sunday for Vegas! We were supposed to leave at just after 11am...we got loaded on the plane and were told there was a 2 1/2 hour delay, because of winds in Vegas. So off th

e plane we went. After about 1 1/2 hours, they announced we were gining the okay to go ahead. Wouldn't you know..we get back on only to be retold that we were delayed yet again! An hour and 20 minutes this time. Nice. So we sat on the plane (they really didn't want us leaving again) and waited. Finally we were able to leave. Geesh! Didn't get there until about 4:30pm, which was a bummer! Got a rental car and checked into the hotel. Headed to In and Out Burger for some food. Love that place!! The weather was chilly the whole time. High 40s, low 50s. It rained a little here and there. Tuesday was our 6 year anniversary. We went out to eat and I got a tattoo. Yes, I actually did it! I didn't freak out as much as I did the first time...though I wanted to ;) I will post pictures of it later. Monday night we saw Carrot Top perform at the Luxor. We had 2nd row seats and were probably about fifteen feet away from him! He was hilarious and it was a great time! We went to the outlet mall there...gambled some...drank some...shopped...and of course missed the kids like crazy!! They did good. The baby did have trouble sleeping though...and Xandria had a meltdown the last night, but otherwise it went pretty good. I hope ;) We arrived home about 11:15am on thursday. I came home and took a nap. Nick picked up Xavier from school, and Ang brought the rest of the kids home around 4pm. I was SO happy to see them!! The baby couldn't stop smiling and the other kids were amped!! So nice to be back at home and in my bed! It was a great break and I came home feeling refreshed :) Well, I'm off to do more laundry...and hope it stops snowing soon!!
