Happy Belated Valentine's Day!!

Here's some photos I took of the kiddos on V Day. I had Drake sit on the bouncy horse so that would ensure he would stay in one spot! After pictures, we made Daddy frames out of popsicle sticks and stuck those conversation hearts on them, put picture of each in their fame, stuck magnets on the back and Daddy hung them in his work truck. The kids really enjoyed doing that. I should of taken pictures of them, but was pretty tired after all that. We took the kids out to Red Robin to eat and then to Dairy Queen for some ice cream. It was a good time. Yesterday Nick and I got to celebrate by ourselves. We ate at Outback (yum!), then went to the movies to see Ghost Rider. It was a good movie! Of course it helps that Nicholas Cage is hot and there is a scene in the movie where he's standing with his shirt off all ripped and sweaty! Yum! So, if you're not sure you will like the movie, go just to see that part!! But, even without that it was definetly a good movie. That's all for now. Where are your eyes?

This is what Drake has been doing lately when asked "where are your eyes?", he used to just point at them. He's so silly! The other picture shows what else he does lately. He had just finished wiping his face and has to look at the wipe to check it out. He has to look after he wipes something...oh and also after his bottom is done being wiped...always saying "let ME see", as if he doesn't want to miss out on something gross. Boys!

The Rodeo

We took the kids to see the rodeo today. They were excited to go! Drake kept saying "rodeo" and "horsees". He loves horses! We decided we would go thirty minutes before it started, good thing we live less
ten minutes from the center! We bought tickets when we got there, they were pretty nice seats...we were right on the end and no one else was in our row. Just how I like it! Took some pictures, didn't turn out too great...couldn't find the long lens before we left, but they are ok. There were two injures today. In the picture with the bull, when the guy was on the ground the bull stomped right on him, basically just like how he is in the pic, with his front legs going down on the guy. The guy got up, took a few steps and fell down. That bulls name is Tonka and he weighs 2000 pounds!! The guy was taken away in the ambulance. The other injury happened when another guy fell off and when he fell, he didn't get up. They ran over to him and the paramedics came and it was quiet. Then they announced he broke his leg and was taken away by ambulance also. Ouch, those were some painful moments!! I really enjoyed going and look forward to going next year. In other news, Drake had been a crab butt this past week, mainly because he didn't feel the greatest. He's feeling better now and that's a good thing! I will post some of his Chuck E Cheese pictures later. That's all for now!

Drake Turned 2!!

Last sunday, the 14th was Drake's second birthday! He's grown so much and is talking up a storm and loves to mimic what he hears! For his birthday we gave him two cupcakes with a candle on each one. Doesn't he look so sweet waiting to blow out his candles? He blew the first one out no problem, the second one took a few tries! Then it was present time. As soon as he saw the truck bag, he said "Open!" He got books, trucks, a nailer that looks just like Daddy's, some finger skateboards like big brother has, an Elmo that goes potty (hint hint), an Elmo bath toy and later we gave him a battery powered, ride on Bob the Builder truck that has a scoop and bucket on it. After the presents, we headed to Red Robin where he ate his favorite cheesy mac there. We took him to Playworld after we ate. At first he wanted to leave, but Daddy went through the tunnels with him (that's what Daddy's are for...ha ha), and he LOVED it and didn't want to leave when it came time to go. He had a great birthday and kept saying "Happy Birthday" all day. Too sweet! This sunday we are having his birthday party at good ole Chuck E Cheese. I'm just praying that there are not a ton of screaming kids there! I'll post some pictures. Well, that's all for now!

Two More Days...

until my sister and nieces get here! They live about six hours away in southern Illinois. Xandria can NOT wait until Chelsey gets here so she can finally see her! They haven't been here since July. Chelsey is 7 1/2 and Skylar is 2 1/2. So we look forward to seeing you!

The Snow Day (from the other week)

Drake was so excited when I showed him the snow outside! He kept saying "snow" over and over, but he had to get bundled up before he could go play in it. Hadn't gotten him snow pants yet, so I managed to find Xandria's old ones (they only had a lil pink on them!), they were a little snug but good enough. He couldn't move too well in the snow, but he LOVED it!! In the one picture where the snow is falling on him, he is trying to brush the snow off the car. The picture where his mouth forms an O is when he is saying "Snow." He started crying when I said it was time to go in (I had my shoes filled with snow at that point!), you can see the tear on his cheek. He tried running off when I said that, but fell down quickly! I don't have pictures of the other two, because the neighbor kids were outside, and they quickly ditched me for them! Next time...just hope we don't get quite as much snow at once again!

Thanksgiving...a lil late

On Thanksgiving we went to my parents house where my dad always cooks the best food! My favorites are the turkey, stuffing and dumplings! Drake cracked me up...he doesn't mess around when he's hungry! Before the food was even finished he was yelling "EAT, EAT!" and wanted in his chair! So, he sat at the table by himself drinking a juicebox, laughing and waiting patiently for his food to get done. He pigged out! He actually ate two more times that night too! He would yell "mom!", then "EAT!" and run over to his chair at the table. It was so funny and I cannot believe how much he ate! Xavier spent most of the night playing Playstation games and Xandria watched movies. The last picture is of the five of us. Can't wait for Christmas and more food!!

Fall Photos

It's been a long time since I've posted! We've been pretty busy and I've tried to post pics a few times, but it wouldn't let me...and how fun is it with no pictures to show? Anyway, here are some fall pictures of the kids, even though there's snow outside now! Fall is my favorite time of year. Xandria and Drake loved chasing me around throwing leaves at me. Drake being the boy he is, LOVED the sticks. I will post some other ones with Xavier when I upload those to the computer (I took the ones of just Xandria and Drake while Xavier was in school).

Busy Busy!!

Wow! Things have been busy! Last weekend was the kids' Halloween Birthday party. It was fun, but a little hectic. Especially trying to entertain to different age groups...but we managed. It did get a little crazy when the older kids played the Mummy Wrap game. They were divided into two teams and one kid in each team was the mummy. The other kids have to wrap him up with toilet paper and whoever is wrapped the fastest, that team wins. I didn't actually get to view the game (I was with the little kids painting pumpkins), but I did get to see the aftermath of the game! The kids (and I think my lovely husband) decided to take all the toilet paper and TP the tree in the backyard!! Wow, that was a sight!! Luckily, it got cleaned up quick! This past friday, the 13th was Nick's 28th Birthday! The kids made him cards and we got him a cookie cake. When he came home they surprised him and we sang to him and he blew out his candles, then opened his presents. Xavier and I decided at the last minute we would hide one of his presents (a watch put in a Barrel of Monkeys container) outside. We wrote up some directions and we headed outside to watch him. After some confusion, he finally found it! We headed to Outback for supper and had a great time! Yesterday Nick and I headed for Gurnee to spend the night. It was my first time without having Drake for the night!! He stayed at my parents house with Xavier and Xandria. We went to Great America for the Fright Fest. Boy...was that PACKED!! I don't remember ever seeing that many people there before!! Every line was TOO packed!! We didn't get there until 4pm anyhow, so we just walked around looking at everything and got to go the rocking boat and the carousel. Left around 6 and headed to Gurnee Mills Mall and I made a beeline to Archivers (LOVE that store!). Stayed there until my set time limit was up and we headed to see a movie. Jackass 2! Have to say...that movie is HILARIOUS and just a touch gross (horse semen, anyone?)! It's definetly a MUST SEE!! This morning we headed back to the mall and got lots of stuff for Nick and the kids (I can never find stuff for me). Had to go and get the kids (YAY!)...just in time to go bowling. It was definetly back to normal with the three kids!! That's all for now...the kids are actually all in bed and I'm ready to relax! I will add pictures later, when it will let me.

Xandria Turned 5!!

Xandria's birthday was last thursday. We celebrated at home with a little cupcake cake for her and she opened her presents from us. She was REALLY into the Wonka bar and could not wait to eat it!! The Barbie and dog she is holding she was really excited about because the dog not only eats the food, but it actually poops it back out also. Nice! She got the Barbie Party Bus and the Polly Pocket Cruise ship and some other things. Afterwards, we went to Chuck E Cheese and she had a blast!! So, she is now five and she loves to tell everybody how she 'is five and a BIG girl!" She told me that on her last birthday she's going to be a teenager and then she can drive! Now there's a great thought...um, no! We have been busy cleaning and working on the addition getting ready for their birthday party on sunday. It's going to be Halloween theme. Should be fun. Now I just got to figure out what games to play! Well, that's all for now!
