32 Weeks Ultrasound

Me @ 33 weeks

Last week we had our 32 week ultrasound. I was laghing when he first came on the screen the lady asked how big my other babies were (all 8+) and she said "yea, because this one has a pretty good sized head." Yes, I could count on that...we always joke about the Olson head...it's big and durable! My kids rarely cry when they hit their heads, unless they hit their heads with the other's head! His heartrate was 143. My fluid level was at 10. His weight was 4pounds 10oz. She said I'm just destined for 8 pound babies (I kinda figured that out by now). At least she didn't say 10 or 11 pounds! He was in the 63 percentage for growth. Good news is that he's head down now. =) She said he has lots of hair (picture number 2). We can't wait to see what color it will be! She tried to get a good 3d picture of him, but he was too smooshed in there. The one she did get is the 3rd picture. You can see his eye socket, nose and lips. Not the best, but we don't have much longer to see it in real life! The first picture is his nose and mouth kinda peeking in. The kids are getting VERY excited and so am I...just a little nervous also. Everyone wants to know his name, but we are keeping it a secret until he's born. I will say it starts with a D and is not all that common.

WE'RE HAVING A...

Yep, that's our newest boy! I was a little surprised because I thought it would be 2 boys and 2 girls, but I had a feeling from the beginning it was a boy. Wow, 3 boys and 1 girl. Guess Xandria will get to be the princess for awhile longer, ha ha. The ultrasound tech asked if we wanted to know the sex, I said "yes" and she asked what we thought first and we said "boy," since that's what they thought the baby might be at the last ultrasound. She confirmed and showed us his parts and said there's no doubt about it! When I got home I put all the ultrasound pics in an album and put that picture last to show the kids. I showed Xavier them first and he said "I'm so lucky!" when he read the "boy" part. Next I showed Xandria...she was so hoping for a sister. We got to the last picture and I asked her if she could read what that said, she said "no" and I told her it says "boy." She said "What?! I said I wanted a sister!" But, she got over it after a minute and is just excited we're having a baby...though she did ask if we could decorate the room with kitties. There's more ultrasound pictures below.

Guess What...

We are having another baby!! Baby number 4!! Wow! We were more than just a little surprised, but are very happy!! We found out on Jan. 1st when I decided to get a home pregnancy test after I realized the month of December went by without the monthly visitor coming. To my surprise it said PREGNANT on the digital stick! Had to take another test just to be sure...same result. Nick wasn't home, so I decided to put the tests in the fridge because I knew he would surely find them there! I asked him to get me a Sprite when he got in and I waited for him to say something about it, but he didn't. I waited a little while thinking maybe he needed to process it...but nothing. Finally I asked him if he noticed anything in the fridge. He said "No." I told him the kids had left him something in the fridge and to go find it. Finally He found them! Geez! He was prettty surprised (the other times we were pregnant he said he knew, but not this time!), but very happy also. My due date is August 23. One month before the older two birthdays. The first three months I was pretty sick and very tired, but that has gotten better. I'm now 17 weeks! It's already gone by so fast. We had our first ultrasound last wednesday and nothing is better than seeing your little baby moving inside you (except for hearing the heartbeat for the first time)! She asked if we wanted to know the sex and I said "Yes!", she told us what she thought, but said to wait until our next one to be positive, so I will wait until then to say anything. Our next ultrasound is April 4. I'm praying that everything goes well! Here's a picture of our little one.
